Government Networks, Programs, NGO Networks & Industry Bodies Affiliated with Envirotech Education
Government Networks & Programs
Envirotech Education is fully accredited and operates within a structured ecosystem of Australian government agencies and programs. These affiliations ensure the quality, accessibility, and international recognition of its vocational education and training (VET) services.
Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA)
ASQA is the national regulator for VET in Australia. Envirotech is registered as RTO 31871 and a CRICOS provider (03094J), which authorises it to deliver accredited qualifications to both domestic and international students. This registration confirms that Envirotech complies with rigorous standards for training delivery, assessment, governance, and student support.
Training.gov.au (TGA – National Register)
Training.gov.au is the official national register of training organisations and courses. Envirotech’s accredited programs—including those in marine habitat restoration, aquaculture, sustainability, business, and IT—are listed here, allowing transparent access to the scope and compliance status of all training it offers.
NSW Smart and Skilled Program
This NSW Government initiative provides eligible residents with subsidised training. Envirotech is an approved Smart and Skilled provider, delivering funded Certificate and Diploma-level qualifications in areas such as aquaculture and conservation. This supports accessibility for regional and low-income learners.
VET Student Loans (VSL)
A Commonwealth-supported program that enables eligible students to access income-contingent loans for higher-level VET qualifications (typically Diplomas). Envirotech’s status as a VSL provider ensures that financial barriers are reduced for students enrolled in eligible qualifications.
Destination Australia Program
Funded by the Australian Government, this scholarship program supports students to undertake study in regional and remote areas. Envirotech’s eligibility under this program enhances its ability to offer sustainable and meaningful training experiences outside major urban centres, often in coastal or Indigenous contexts.
NSW Department of Education – EVET Program
Through the Externally Delivered VET (EVET) framework, Envirotech partners with NSW high schools—such as Bass High School—to deliver vocational training (e.g., Certificate II in Aquaculture) to school-aged students. This allows students to gain nationally recognised qualifications while still in secondary school, supporting early career pathways and skill-building.
Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS)
Envirotech’s CRICOS registration enables the enrolment of international students in accredited programs. It ensures compliance with the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act, enhancing the institution’s global reach and reinforcing the quality of support and education provided to overseas learners.
NGO Networks & Industry Bodies Affiliated with Envirotech Education
Envirotech collaborates with several respected NGOs and peak bodies to strengthen its position as a leader in vocational education for sustainability, innovation, and community development. These partnerships extend its impact beyond the classroom into global, social, and environmental systems.
Velg Training
Velg is one of Australia's leading non-government professional networks supporting RTOs. Through this affiliation, Envirotech accesses sector-leading resources, ongoing professional development for staff, and updates on compliance and pedagogy. This ensures continuous improvement in training quality, especially as regulations and industry needs evolve.
Independent Tertiary Education Council Australia (ITECA)
ITECA is the national industry association for independent education and training providers. As a member, Envirotech contributes to and benefits from sector-wide advocacy, research, policy development, and collaboration. ITECA also represents independent RTOs in discussions with government, helping shape a more inclusive and supportive VET sector. Envirotech’s involvement strengthens its voice and alignment with national education priorities.
Export Council of Australia (ECA)
The ECA is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting Australian exports across sectors. Envirotech’s recognition as a finalist in the Sustainability and Green Economy category at the 2024 Premier’s NSW Export Awards demonstrates its excellence in exporting vocational training services, particularly in the fields of marine conservation, climate resilience, and sustainability. This affiliation positions Envirotech as a key contributor to Australia’s education export industry, especially in regional and international collaborations.
