During Your Course
Envirotech Education provides opportunities for students to develop practical skills through structured learning activities. Where applicable to your qualification and in accordance with regulatory requirements, this may include work placement to support the application of learned skills in a real-world environment.
Some courses may also offer internship or industry engagement opportunities, subject to availability, course requirements and industry partner arrangements. Participation in any workplace learning component is designed to support students in building relevant experience for their studies.

Education Pathways

Envirotech Education acknowledges that each student may follow a different study and career pathway. Learning goals and future outcomes can vary, and we aim to provide clear information on recognised pathways where appropriate.
We collaborate with a range of education providers to offer students guidance on potential progression options, including further vocational or higher education study, in accordance with formal pathway agreements and recognition arrangements.

Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)

Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is a mandatory requirement for all international students applying for a student visa to study in Australia. Students must maintain valid OSHC for the entire duration of their visa.

Envirotech Education can assist prospective students by arranging an OSHC policy that covers the full course duration plus an additional two months, as required for Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) issuance.
Students who prefer to arrange their own OSHC must provide evidence of a policy that meets visa requirements and covers the full course duration plus two months before a CoE can be issued.

Envirotech Education holds service agreements with NIB and Medibank, which are approved OSHC providers in Australia.
Our administration team can provide support with OSHC-related enquiries, including assistance with policy documentation and general guidance on claim processes with the student’s chosen OSHC provider.

While Envirotech Education cannot provide immigration advice, we can offer general guidance on the student visa application process and direct students to the appropriate resources.

Working in Australia

International students may be eligible to work part-time or casually while studying, subject to visa conditions. It is important for students to understand their workplace rights under Australian law.

All workers in Australia are entitled to minimum pay and workplace protections. The Fair Work Ombudsman provides tools and resources to help students understand their rights and responsibilities.
