Mungalla Station Program

We had an amazing week with Mungalla Aboriginal Tours, learning from Traditional Custodians about care for country and culture. 🌎

Students got to learn about wetland restoration and management, wildlife management, fire management (cool burns), connect with Indigenous Ranger Groups Girringun Aboriginal Corporation  ,the TUMURA (Traditional Use of Marine Resource Agreement)  and explore sea country.  We also got to deliver skillset training around cool burning led by Traditional Custodians. 🔥 

It was an incredibly valuable experience and hoping that Australia will continue to expand Indigenous Ranger programs and training. Huge thanks to Jacob Cassidy for your leadership 🙏🏼
